Blackberry Playbook

It has been much anticipated by the Blackberry fanatics the release of their Playbook that is supposed to compete against the other tablets in the market. RIM even had a marketing strategy to release the first 500,000 units in a discounted price.

But all the fireworks didn't served it's purpose as the Blackberry Playbook didn't perform well in the market. There are even those who are proclaiming that the release was really a flop. The reason for this was apparently due to the lack of applications for the unit and worse, you need to have a Blackberry phone to fully utilize the tablet.
